Usui Reiki Level I for Massage Therapists (6 CEUs)
An Inner Peace Massage + Reiki presents a 6-hour continuing education course for anyone interested in learning about Reiki, energy work, and how to help yourself or others on a deeper level. Anyone who wants to add gentle, effective energy work and facilitation of holding space is welcome. You will learn Reiki fundamentals, receive your Level I attunement, and discover how to integrate this healing modality with your daily and professional services.

By the end of this course, you'll confidently:
- Demonstrate relaxation techniques including guided imagery, 5 Directions Breathing, and Kenyoku
- Discuss the history and philosophy of Reiki with clients and colleagues
- Perform a complete Reiki self-treatment using proper hand positions
- Draw and apply the first Reiki symbol (Cho Ku Rei)
- Provide hands-on Reiki treatments to clients, friends, and family

Unlike online courses, Stacey provides in-person attunements and direct feedback to ensure you leave feeling confident and connected to your practice.

The attunement is a sacred ceremony where the Reiki Master Teacher opens your energy channels to receive and channel Reiki energy. It's a gentle, guided process that enables you to practice Reiki on yourself and others.
No. This is Level I, the foundational level. You'll be a Reiki practitioner able to perform self-treatments and treat others. Reiki Master status requires completing Levels II and III.
This course is approved by the NCBTMB, which is recognized by most state massage therapy boards. Please verify with your specific state board to confirm acceptance. Students that are not massage therapists are welcome and encouraged to join class.
Yes! You'll receive your Level I attunement and learn complete treatment protocols. Many students begin offering Reiki to clients within days of completing the course.
Bring a water bottle, notebook/ journal, pen, bottom linen, blanket and/or pillow for reflection time. Wear comfortable clothing suitable for giving and receiving treatments. All course materials and manuals are provided.

Whether you want to learn Reiki for yourself, or to open your doors to help others, this course is for you. If you happen to be a massage therapist, this course is approved for massage therapy CEUs, as Stacey is an NCBTMB Approved Provider.
